Shelly’s passion for cake decorating began at an early age when she used to sit and watch her grandmother make wedding cakes and her mum make her birthday cakes. When she had her children the time had come for her to put everything she had learnt into practice. Her natural talent shone through and this led to a flurry of orders from family and friends. With a gentle nudge in the right direction, Michelle turned her creativity into a career gaining on the way a City and Guilds qualification in Design for Craft and Sugar Decoration.. More recently her designs have been awarded at the International Cake Craft Competition and the prestigious Salon Culinaire.
